I’m super excited for the long weekend this weekend, YAY 🙂
We have some date ideas, and lots of rest, sleeping in and relaxation planned for this weekend.
Well…I’ve been sick this week… which is not so much fun.
So, my Friday Favorites today are a bit different. Here are some of my ‘favorite’ things when I am sick…the things that help me get better quick!!
- Tea… lots of it!! I especially love mint or anything with ginger, add in a bit of honey and lemon, perfect for a sore throat.
2. Fisherman’s friends. I’ve gone through a few packs of these. These are the best.
3. Lots and lots of soup. A good way to get extra liquids, and once again nice and soothing for a sore throat.
4. And finally SLEEP. I find the best thing to do is get extra rest.
And finally my last ‘favorite’ from this week is my kind husband ❤
He’s been running out to get me medicine, cough drops, soup, juice, the extra soft kleenex, and anything else I could need or want.
He has been making me lots of tea and soup 🙂
And has been brightening my days with little gifts and thoughtful notes!
He is just the best!!
