I really wanted to share a sweet treat for this “Friday’s Favorites”, but it has been SO hot. Which means turning on the oven isn’t the most appealing idea, seeing as I don’t want to make our place any warmer.
So, I’m going with a no bake recipe. This one is without a doubt a favorite!
These are called fluffernutter cookies! I think the name comes from the marshmallow fluff and peanut butter… either way, such a funny name!!!
Here’s what you need:
I’m making 2 kinds of fluffernutters with these ingredients. Might as well go all out!!
The first kind is regular oreos with peanut butter and marshmallow fluff in the middle.
The second kind is vanilla oreos with nutella and marshmallow fluff in the middle.
All you have to do is spread marshmallow fluff on one side and peanut butter/nutella on the other. Seriously, easiest recipe ever.
Squish them together and dip them in chocolate. And boom, you’re done!
(Tip 1: I like to freeze them before dipping them because it makes the whole dipping process a WHOLE lot easier)
I put sprinkles on the vanilla/nutella cookies and a peanut butter chip on the chocolate/peanut butter cookies so its easy to tell the difference.
(Tip 2: I like to store them in the freezer so that way they last longer and avoid melting!)
YUM! These are the BEST!! Like I said it is SO hot here right now, that cookie was melting right in my hand!! Guess I’ll just have to eat that one 😉
